Respectable story that did an effective job of capturing Tarkin s speech and demeanor A few connections to other characters were a nice bonus. A brief interlude leading in to A New Dawn, taking in a few old friends and introducing a new enemy. Entertaining in its own right, but also successful in being both an epilogue to Tarkin and a prologue to A New Dawn. Nice quick little story Vidian is neat andruthless Tarkin is never a bad thing. This short star wars story about Tarkin was a great addition to his novel It was very well put together and tied the novel together with the next books in the canon time line.
